V-Wave Ventura Interatrial Shunt

Unique Design Features and Benefits²

The V-Wave Ventura Interatrial Shunt is a novel, hourglass-shaped implantable device. The shunt is designed to lower left atrial pressure and reduce heart failure hospitalizations in patients with Class III symtomatic HFrEF (LVEF≤40%).

The Procedure

The V-Wave Ventura Interatrial Shunt is implanted across a patient’s atrial septum using a standard transcatheter procedure.
