The V-Wave™ Ventura Interatrial Shunt is a novel, hourglass-shaped implantable device. The shunt is designed to reduce increases in left atrial pressure by offloading volume from the left atrium to the right atrium.

The Procedure

The V-Wave Ventura Interatrial Shunt is implanted across a patient’s atrial septum using a standard transcatheter procedure.
